The Garibaldi Suites Rome pays tribute by its name to Giuseppe Garibaldi, who, during his stay in Rome at the time of the unification of Italy, stayed in these very apartments with his wife Anita Garibaldi.  In fact it is widely believed that the Garibaldi Suites Rome at Piazza di Spagna is the only accommodation in all of Rome to have hosted both Giuseppe and Anita together.
